Specializing in Bridal & Online Education with a background in TV & Film, Commercial and Editorial.
Before even starting makeup school, I was orchestrating photo shoots with my friends at 16. Getting everyone ready for events, figuring out lighting, and learning what worked. Beauty and photography were never separate things for me. They've always gone hand in hand, which is why I’ve also gained professional photography training.
I went to school at Blanche MacDonald and started up at MAC Cosmetics at the same time, which turned out to be the perfect combination. Learning the theory in school and immediately practising it on hundreds of different faces behind the counter felt like the absolute best way to master a craft.
I started my own business in 2005, and since then, this career has taken me from bridal suites to film sets, magazine pages, music festivals, and everywhere in between. I joined the IATSE film union in 2008 and spent years on set across film and television, working alongside talent ranging from Karl Urban and Joshua Jackson to Meghan Markle and Peyton Manning. I've worked the Vancouver 2010 Olympics closing ceremony with the MAC Cosmetics Special Events Team, written beauty segments and shot photography for FASHION Canada Magazine, and have been featured multiple times in Rocky Mountain Bride.
Currently, my work lives in three main areas: bridal, beauty education, and digital services for beauty and wellness professionals looking to enhance their online presence.
I'm based in Whistler, providing hair and makeup throughout the Sea to Sky Corridor and destinations. Available for in-person and remote lessons.
